Abstract As technologies are woven deep into the fabric of our postdigital society and universities, there is a need to devise new research methods, seek out kinds material, in order better understand complex changing surroundings. One such approach, I argue this article, involves creating analysing music playlists as way critically exploring learning spaces practices higher education.
